Always look on the bright side of life

So I started with a blog post a while ago and for whatever reason I never finished it. It said this "Life sucks! Sometimes I really just feel like giving up on life. Nothing seems to be going my way at all. I can't find a job. I am fighting with people a lot. I feel betrayed and unwanted by many people that were once close to me and life just sucks. I was sitting along in my room moping tonight when I decided i should probably do my devotions and read Hebrews 13 (finally done with that book its taken my over a month!) In verses five and six the author of hebrews" kind of a cliffhanger ending. Right? I looked up those verses again and they talk about God never leaving us and that through him we can do anything. I was having very similar feelings today as the day I started the old post. I have a job now but I don't really like it. And I am still extremely tight on money. All of my cars have something wrong with them and everything just seems to pile up. Is at this time they got can seem so distant. Sometimes the words "I will never leave you or for sake you" seem to me nothing, but these are the times that they have to mean everything to us. Somehow my cars or at least still running. So how my bank account is still in the green. Somehow I actually have a job. That is all thanks to Jesus. I was talking to my sister Rebecca the other day and she was saying she didn't feel well and that she had laid in bed all day feeling sick and my response was "at least you have a bed to feel sick in". So often I find myself focusing on the negative parts of life and ignoring all the many positive aspects. If you're always looking down you will never see the sun. So I am challenging myself and also challenging anyone who is reading this to "Always look on the bright side of life" (I apologize if you have that song in your head for the rest of the day.) you will never accomplish great things if you're always focusing on how ungreat you are now. As always if you want someone to talk to you my email is available or you can comment on this post. I know sometimes all you need is an ear to hear your problems and then they feel better so I'm always here for that purpose or more personalized advice. Have a great day!
